There have been three main sources of funding for the Real Nappy Network.

DEFRA (the Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs) provided a grant of £78,000. This funded much of the original purchase of nappy stock (loan schemes and sample packs) and promotional materials. The funding was from August 2002 to March 2003.
Viridor Landfill Tax Credits gave £115,610 (this included Legacy Funding when the Landfill Tax Credits stopped). This provided start-up costs for the Conquest Hospital changeover, start-up costs for nurseries, the nappy guide, advertising the project and continued funding for the Nappy Promotions Officer. Enventure are the Environmental Body who assisted the Network in getting the Landfill Tax Credits. The funding was from July 2002 to March 2005.
WRAP (the Waste & Resources Action Programme) provided £74,985 to continue and expand the project. This funding was from December 2004 to March 2006.
